Bibendum to represent VSPT Wine Group's full portfolio in Sweden

Gato Negro Cabernet Sauvignon bag-in-box from VSPT Wine Group

From 1 January 2027, Bibendum, part of Anora Group, becomes the exclusive importer and distributor in Sweden for Chile's VSPT Wine Group and its Argentine winery Finca La Celia. The agreement covers Systembolaget, the on-trade and Swedish travel retail, and runs until the end of 2029.

Bibendum has worked with VSPT since 2022, building Tarapacá and Leyda in the Swedish market. With the new agreement, VSPT consolidates its entire Swedish business with Bibendum: a portfolio of around 1 million litres a year at Systembolaget.

The portfolio is led by Gato Negro, VSPT's largest brand in Sweden by volume. It also includes Santa Helena, Castillo de Molina, 1865, Sideral and the icon wines Altaïr and Cabo de Hornos from Chile, as well as La Celia and Graffigna from Argentina.

The on-trade is a central part of the agreement. Through Anora, Bibendum has an established on-trade business in Sweden. VSPT's premium and icon wines will now be managed under the same strategy as the brands' business at Systembolaget.
